Business in a Crate

I need to first explain to you what this is all about.

Please bear with me…

Having been online now for over 34 months on a full time basis, I am continually made aware that it is not easy for a person who would like to market a website or start a web-based business online to know what to do, and how to do it.

Whenever I tell someone new that I meet that I do Internet marketing I get a very common reaction.

They tell me things like “oh – I am also in I.T.”, or “Yes – I also have a website” and it make we want to scream first and then cry – because they do not have a clue as to what Internet marketing is all about.

It is a bit like a car salesman telling me that he is also in the car business when I tell him I am a specialist formula one gearbox technician!

Now I am not really moaning here just for the fun of it, but to point out to you that if you are considering starting up a business online – then PLEASE DO IT RIGHT!

There is almost only one way to do the marketing of a website, and if you are not careful, and go off to Google to find out how to do Internet marketing you are possibly in for a 6 month to a 2 year journey – before you realize what you should be doing.

What goes wrong are two things …

1. almost everyone thinks that it is going to be very easy, put up a website – do a little “SEO” and then Google will send you visitors and you will make money.

2. Then once you realize that it is not happening – you go off and start to look into all the possible ways to get real customers. That is when the real trouble starts, because there are thousands of “gurus” that all have the next shiny thing that you need to buy (for only $79) that will put your website into the earn-$1 million-this-year bracket.

How Internet marketing really works

It is in fact very simple really, and is only complicated by everyone telling you that there is a better way to do it.

Find a competitive product that people are actually looking for.

Set up a website that caters to that product and need

Go about doing the little daily tasks that will get your website noticed by the search engines – so that they will rank your website on the search engine results pages and ultimately send you clients.

Keep doing that all the time, while your website gets busier and busier.

Collect the money!

Perhaps I could compare it to how to clean your house. Be honest – there is only really one way, tidy up, wipe clean etc… BUT if you got a few cleaning specialists together they would all have hundreds of different tips on how to get it done the most efficiently. Now if you had never cleaned a house ever – you are likely to get very confused following each specialist exact version, when you could have started by simply sweeping out the house – right?

Please understand that I am not telling you that I am far better at this Internet marketing thing that the specialists that have been doing it for 10 and 15 years. They really do know what they are doing, and following their advice is very often not a bad thing.

BUT!!!

This business in a crate does three things for you right now.

Business in a crate explained

I have noticed a few simple facts in relation to watching newcomers online, and how they go about setting up a business online.

Firstly they are skeptical (and I mean REALLY skeptical) and who can blame them?

Then they are reluctant to spend a fortune with the very first snake-oil salesman who comes along (me – ha-ha)

If I told you that I have a restaurant for sale that makes R100 000 a month ($15000) and that it was for sale at R1 million rands (or $150000) you would not think that it is a lie, in fact you would nod your head and agree with me that it is probably a great investment – right?

But then I tell you that for only R60 000 ($8500) I can set up a website for you that will more than likely make you the same profits a month – you will start to back off and mumble that you need to go because you have forgotten an appointment… RIGHT?

Don’t worry – I have seen it happen many times. Then if I cut my prices and told you I could do the same thing for you for only XXX you will think that it is too cheap, and therefore is rubbish and will never work – right?

BUT, I am continually being asked by friends and family to “please help” them set up a website. I spend hours doing the basics for them, and then when they realize that there is still many months of work ahead of them, they give up, and I am a little peeved with them.

So I have solved the entire thing by doing the following for you.

Firstly – the reason I have called it “A Business in A Crate” is because this is really the uncut version on how to start up your online business.

I do not do any of the work for you at all!

BUT – I give you a very detailed and comprehensive system and e books and videos explaining  how you can do it for yourself.

Best of all is that I give you a website in the crate.

YOU GET

  • one HTML website
  • One word-press website
  • Something like 20 full e books on how to do it all
  • You get a further 20 or more videos on how to do it all
  • Everything laid out for you.
  • You will even get a large choice of websites/businesses ( this is being added to during the Beta stage)

Your main websites page would look something like this – go here and see

Your websites blog will look something like this very website that you are on right now – But have a header that suites the choice of business you decided to do.

Now I could go on forever as to how much all this really is in value, but I simply would like to say that most training courses with a website attached, and all the video training etc included would be anywhere from R350 ($47) for the cheapest, to an average of R680 ($97) to as much as R7000 ($1000)

For some unexplained reason, people will willingly work 18 hours a day for two hears or more with a normal offline business, and not expect any profits at all in that time period, BUT then they come online try for a week or two – and give up.

Then they will tell you that it was a scam, and didn’t work. DUH! they didn’t try for the minimum 6 month period.

Yes you heard me right – 6 Months is more or less the time it will take your web-based business to start to show its true potential.

After a year of hard work you will very likely be earning a very nice living from your website, and could even cut back at that stage and cruise time and effort wise, and still keep earning great money.

I have to say that I do not want any tire-kickers along on this ride with me, I would prefer people that are really willing to do the work for themselves and make a great living online.

Are you someone like that?
